Sean King
"Sean has been involved in the midwest music seen for 15 years. He was the original bass player for power pop outfit, The Pranks, who ravaged Midwest clubs with their brand of high powered, melodic rock and roll. He has played with a number of other acts that include The Rayburns, Superdrive, and can be currently seen in the club favorite The Roctologists. He has opened for the likes of REO Speedwagon, Enuff Znuff, Steve Morse Group, Too Much Joy, Elvis Brothers, The Zeros, The Poor Boys, Mark Slaughter, Roger McGuinn, Titanic Love Affair, and The Finns. He currently favors the TP-2 as his bass of choice. "I've played different 8 and 12 string basses over the years and was disheartened at the lack of quality and price of available instruments. Waterstone has exceeded my expectations of what a bass should be. As a person who has worked at a number of professional guitar companies, the quality and price have really been a fantastic purchasing point. The mammoth tones and cosmetics of the these instruments sold me on Waterstone, not to mention, the folks at Waterstone have been fantastic to deal with." He currently awaits the next batch of Waterstone 12 strings to be released, and as a result of his purchase, can still afford to pay for dinner (when asked to)."
